James and I have promised ourselves that it’s time to get out and hike with the kids. We’ve gone to some fun places when we’ve had guests from the Lower 48 (or “Outside,” as Alaskans actually call it), but we’re horrible about just getting out and doing day hikes with them. But it’s time for a change!
For our first hike, we went to the Campbell Creek Science Center and did a 3.5 mile out and back, easy trail. Maybe even a little too easy, but a nice one to start with.
This little one loved inspecting this flowers along the way. Bluebells, I think?
I think everyone’s favorite part was the creek running through the park.
And… their crazy faces.
