I think I’m addicted to any sort of fitness challenge. Most recently, I decided to work with a local Zumba teacher who is offering to host an online weight loss challenge. We are filling out tracking sheets where we are tracking meditation, cardio, strength work, healthy eating, and sleep. There’s no buy-in or prizes, but the leader and our online groups are there to encourage and keep us motivated.
I hope it gives me the jump-start I need. Merely trying to “be better about my eating” is not working for me. My body is still hanging onto the weight I gained over the summer and I’m getting frustrated.
So my plan is to track calories in My Fitness Pal, and do cardio 4 days per week, strength training 2 days per week, and yoga once a week. We’ll see how it goes! Looking forward to it!
